Your data & privacy at Astrollo
What personal data Astrollo collects, how it is used and protected, and your rights to access, export, or delete it under GDPR, LGPD and LFPDPPP.
In short
Astrollo collects only what it needs: your account details (email, name) and birth data (date, time, place) to calculate your chart. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, passwords are hashed, and your card number never touches Astrollo. You can access, export, or permanently delete it all at any time under GDPR, LGPD and LFPDPPP.
What data Astrollo collects (account & birth data)
Astrollo keeps two kinds of information, and nothing beyond what the product needs to work:
- Account data — your email address and the name you sign up with. These identify your account and let us contact you about your subscription.
- Birth data — your date, time, and place of birth. This is the raw material for every calculation: your natal chart, transits, compatibility, and more.
- Activity data — which charts you have built, the questions you have asked the AI astrologer, and your saved readings, so the app can show your history.
- Billing records — amounts, dates, and status of your payments. Astrollo never stores your full card number (see below).
We do not buy data about you from third parties, and we do not build advertising profiles.
How your data is used and protected
Your data is used for one purpose: to run the service you signed up for. Birth data feeds the calculation engine; account data keeps you signed in; billing records manage your subscription.
Protection is built in at every layer:
- Encryption in transit — every connection uses HTTPS/TLS, so nothing can be read on its way between your device and our servers.
- Encryption at rest — stored data is encrypted on the server side.
- Hashed passwords — passwords are stored as one-way hashes, never in plain text. Even our team cannot read them, which is why support can never tell you your password — it does not exist anywhere in readable form.
- Card numbers never touch Astrollo — payments are processed by a PCI-DSS-certified international card processor. Astrollo only receives a short token to manage renewals, never your card number, CVV, or PIN.
Your privacy rights under GDPR, LGPD and LFPDPPP
Wherever you live, you hold strong rights over your personal data, and Astrollo honours them:
- Right of access — ask what data we hold about you.
- Right to portability — receive a copy of your data in a usable format.
- Right to rectification — correct anything that is wrong, such as a mistyped birth time.
- Right to erasure — have your data permanently deleted.
- Right to object or restrict — limit how your data is processed.
These rights are guaranteed under the EU's GDPR, Brazil's LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados), and Mexico's LFPDPPP (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares), as well as comparable laws elsewhere. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How to request access, export, or deletion
The fastest way to remove everything is to do it yourself:
- Open Profile → Danger Zone and select Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account, birth data, readings, and history are permanently erased.
If you want a copy of your data first, or only want part of it removed (for example, deleting your saved readings while keeping your account):
- Email support@astrollo.net from the address on your account.
- Tell us what you need — access, export, or deletion.
- We verify it is really you, then complete the request within the timeframe required by law.
You can also unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message.
Frequently asked privacy questions
Does anyone read my AI chats? Your conversations are private to your account. Support can only access account content when needed to resolve a request you have raised, and such access is limited and logged.
Is my birth time shared with advertisers? No. Birth data is used solely to calculate your charts and is never sold or shared for advertising.
Will deleting my account remove everything? Yes — deletion is permanent and removes your birth data, readings, and history. Some billing records may be retained only as long as the law requires for accounting.
What if I sign up but never subscribe? Free accounts are treated the same way. You can delete your data whenever you like.
