Astrollo calculates birth charts with the Swiss Ephemeris (DE431) at 0.001° precision, placing ten planets plus Chiron and the lunar nodes across twelve Placidus house cusps and every aspect. Interpretations are AI-assisted and reviewed by professional astrologers, framed for self-reflection rather than fortune-telling.
The astronomical engine
Every chart starts with the position of the sky at your exact moment and place of birth. We use the Swiss Ephemeris, built on NASA's DE431 planetary data, the same reference relied on by professional astrologers and astronomers. Positions are computed to 0.001° of arc, so your chart reflects the real sky, not a rounded approximation.

Houses and edge cases
Houses divide your chart into twelve areas of life. We use Placidus by default, the most widely used system in modern Western astrology. Placidus becomes mathematically unstable near the poles, so for birthplaces above roughly 66.5° latitude we automatically fall back to an equal-house system to keep your chart valid and consistent.
